Avalution Consulting Wins ‘Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery Company of the Year’ Award at the First Annual BCI Awards

Cleveland, OH – March 28, 2012

Avalution Consulting – a leader in business continuity, continuity of operations planning (COOP) and IT disaster recovery consulting, outsourcing and software solutions – won the award for Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery Company of the Year last night at the first annual BCI Awards – North America.

Open to all business continuity management professionals regardless of professional membership and/or certification, the first annual BCI Awards – North America were held last night (Tuesday, March 27th) in conjunction with Disaster Recovery Journal (DRJ) Spring World 2012. The awards recognized excellence in 13 categories, inclusive of individual achievement and enterprise/product categories, and winners were chosen by a panel of BCI-appointed judges.

Nominees for Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery Company of the Year – sponsored by Continuity Central – were evaluated on their business profile, industry experience, products and services, business continuity/disaster recovery professional influence, specific achievement and external certification, and customer endorsements.

Brian Zawada, Director of Consulting, and Robert Giffin, Director of Technology, accepted the award on behalf of Avalution.
